Orlando Torah Academy gets ready for Chanukah Extravaganza

Orlando Torah Academy Pre K class with Morah Sara and Mrs. Corey

Excitement is building in Orlando Torah Academy ahead of the holiday of Chanukah. The children are learning about the story of Chanukah, of how the Jews were able to cling to their faith and of course the miracle of the candle lasting for eight days. The students are also practicing their Chanukah songs and getting ready to sing and dance for the Williamsburg Hadassah chapter on Chanukah.

Orlando Torah Academy would like to invite the entire Jewish community to a very special Chanukah Extravaganza on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. as we light the first candle. There will be plenty of food, fun and activities for the children including the chance to build their own menorah to use for Chanukah.

Off to a great start in its second year, Orlando Torah Academy has more than doubled in size since its inception. Families from all Jewish backgrounds and affiliations feel at home in OTA and are thrilled with the high level of education the children are receiving in both their general studies and Judaic studies.

Located in the educational wing of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation and next door to the JCC’s southwest Orlando campus, the school is in a very convenient location for the local Jewish community. For more information about the school, or to register your child for the upcoming school year, please contact the office at 407-536-8156 or email office@orlandotorah.com.
