    On March 5, The Roth Family JCC hosted the fifth annual teen-led J-Serve day of community service for Jewish teens. Nearly 75 teens from grades 6th-12th grades joined together in the JCC to choose between two project tracks: a senior Purim prom party or an LGBTQ advocacy art project program.     The Meitin Alliance for Growth and Learning (MAGAL) is a collaborative religious school between Temple Israel and Temple Shir Shalom.     Ellen Dorfman Feldschreiber Bitton passed away the morning of Feb. 13th, 2017, in Ramat Gan, Israel. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 12, 1952, the daughter of Hyman and Natalie Dorfman. After growing up in New Orleans, she attended Tel Aviv University, where she met her first husband, Jack Feldschreiber. After college, they returned to the States, residing in Orlando in the 1970s.     Robert Klein, age 79, of Groveland, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Born in Bronx, New York, on Sept. 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Samuel and Claire Berger Klein. Following his high school graduation, he received his certification from the New York Institute of Photography and began his career as an Industrial Photographer in Electronics. She was born in New York City on Sept. 24, 1922, a daughter of the late Emil and Rose Vogel Markus. Florence was a high school and nursing school graduate.     At least 7 JCCs receive bomb threats on Purim (JTA)—At least seven Jewish community centers in the United States and Canada received bomb threats while they were hosting Purim events. The threats, either called in or emailed, were reported Sunday at JCCs in Rochester, New York; Chicago; Indianapolis; Milwaukee; Cleveland; Houston, and Vancouver, British Columbia.     (JTA)—At least 12 Jewish community centers and institutions across North America and four Anti-Defamation League offices have received threats of lethal attack, the sixth such wave since the beginning of the year.   • Swastika carved on doorframe of Ohio synagogue

    (JTA)-A swastika was carved onto the doorframe of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue in Lorain, Ohio, a suburb located on the west side of Cleveland. In addition to the swastika, the words "We will rise and gas you," followed by an expletive, also were found on the synagogue.
