    Sidney Mehr, age 94, of Winter Park, passed away at his residence at the Mayflower, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017. A native of New York City, he was born on May 22, 1923, to the late Abe and Minnie Selber Mehr. Following his service in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, he worked as a program manager for the U.S. government. On June 16, 1947, in New York, he married the love of his life, the former Minnie Hearn, to whom he was married for 65 years prior to her passing on Jan. 4, 2013.     Emanuel Rosenthal, age 91, passed away at Brookdale Island Lake, on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017. Dr. Rosenthal was born in Brooklyn on Aug. 15, 1926, to the late Sidney and Sylvia Dukelski Rosenthal. He did his undergraduate and dental school studies at New York University and served in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Rosenthal was the husband of the late Elaine Strauss Rosenthal, who passed away on March 23, 2017. He was born in Bronx, New York, on May 7, 1928, one of two sons born to the late William and Miriam Bromberger Weinroth.
