Belle Niner of Longwood, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2104, at the VITAS Inpatient Care Unit in Winter Garden. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Niner was born in New York on May 13, 1923, to the late Jacob and Martha Tanenbaum. At a time when many were lucky to complete high school, Belle graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in education. Ted Finkel, husband, father, grandfather and a visionary trailblazer in the health-care field, died on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at his home in Orlando. He was 80 years old. As a trailblazer in the field of health-care, Mr. Finkel opened the country’s first Women’s Diagnostic Center in Atlanta, later opening centers in Jacksonville and Denver. Charles Schwartz passed away on Sept. 8, 2014 after a difficult but courageous battle with cancer, and with his loved ones by his side. After a valiant bout with bladder cancer, Jamie Shujman passed away in Altamonte Springs surrounded by his family on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014. Born in Havana, Cuba, to Salomon and Maria Shujman on Feb. 8, 1942, he immigrated to Washington, D.C., on June 12, 1962.
