Lou Pearlman, who formed Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, dies in prison (JTA)—Lou Pearlman, who formed and managed the boy bands Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, died while serving a 25-year prison sentence for a multimillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.
