JNF Women for Israel campaign sets date for Wine and Trivia Night

Jewish National Fund’s Women for Israel in Orlando will host a Wine and Trivia Night at a private home in Orlando at 7 p.m. April 30.

JNF believes in the power of women’s giving. With two major donor societies—Sapphire Society and Chai Society—and the Women’s Alliance, JNF has a giving level to suit every woman. JNF’s Women’s Campaign for Israel brings together strong, like-minded women who connect to JNF and the land and people of Israel on many levels—professional, emotional and ideological.

Through the Women’s Alliance, JNF gives donors of all giving levels the opportunity to share their passions with each other and their counterparts in Israel. Women’s Alliance members receive exclusive insider briefings on Israel, educational seminars and recreational and cultural activities including home tours, cooking events with top chefs and more.

The Sapphire Society, a major gift women’s division of JNF, is an elite group that has raised millions of dollars for a wide variety of projects in Israel. The women of the Sapphire Society share a special bond through their commitment to Zionism, and are part of an exclusive group of leaders helping to strengthen the homeland—one community, one project, one family at a time. In 10 years, the Sapphire Society has raised more than $20 million for a wide variety of projects in Israel including Aleh Negev Adult Rehabilitative Village, KKL fire trucks and a touring school for LOTEM Integrated Nature Studies, Israel’s leading organization for nature activities for children with disabilities and their families. For an annual $5,000 contribution, each member receives the coveted Sapphire Society Pin.

The Chai Society, JNF’s newest major donor society, works toward directing the incredible power of women to give to what they feel passionate about. Chai Society members, through their $1,800 contribution, are honored to wear the Chai Society pendant in the shape of the State of Israel, designed and handmade by female Israeli artists, many of whom are serving in the IDF. High level briefings with Israeli dignitaries, exclusive webinars with key women speakers and invitations on JNF’s Queen of Sheba Women for Israel Mission are just some of the Chai Society member benefits.

Together, with social responsibility to the land, the environment, and the tenets of Judaism, JNF’s Women for Israel Campaign strives to embrace David Ben Gurion’s vision to sustainably develop Israel and secure it for generations to come.
