Bat Mitzvah - MOLLY ROSE KAPLAN

Molly Rose Kaplan, daughter of Jeff and Julie Kaplan of Chuluota, Fla., will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on May 4, 2013.

Molly is a seventh grader at Lawton Chiles Middle School, where she is in the gifted program as a straight A student. She plays the French horn in the Symphonic Band at her school and is on a soccer team. She also enjoys traveling with her family, attending Stetson’s School of Music brass camp each summer and the Florida State Flying High Circus camp.

For the past several months, Molly has served as a mentor and assistant to an autistic student through the Exceptional Student Education program at her school. She has a natural rapport and ability to interact with those who have special needs and has a new found appreciation and level of acceptance for these students.

Sharing in Molly’s simcha will be her brother, Sam; grandparents, Paul and Elsie Jerbi from Heathrow; grandmother Ann Kaplan from Tallahassee; grandfather, Howard Kaplan from Tallahassee and additional family and friends.
