Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice
Sam Glaser, named one of the top 10 Jewish artists in the United States by Moment magazine, will perform Saturday, May 18 in a free concert at Congregation B’nai Torah, 403 N. Nova Road in Ormond Beach.
Beginning at 8 p.m. there will be a workshop: Discovering the Architecture of the Human Soul. The concert follows at 9 p.m.
Glaser’s soulful music has become part of the fabric of Jewish life in communities worldwide. He has appeared at such venues in Los Angeles as the Greek Theater, Universal Amphitheater, Staples Center and Dodger Stadium as well as on Broadway and at the White House. He has traveled the world in concert, from Sydney to London to Hong Kong to Tel Aviv.
Glaser’s compositions have enigmatic appeal; they are complex and catchy, wise and witty, youthful and seasoned.
A program planner says, “If you have never seen him, here is an opportunity to come and spend a couple of hours of pure enjoyment. If you have had the privilege of seeing him, come again and be entertained.”
