Marilyn R. Miller, of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. She was 85 years old.
Mrs. Miller was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 31, 1927, to the late Samuel and Rose Hershkowitz Jacoby. She was a high school graduate and worked in the wholesale shoe industry, becoming the director of sales. She was married nearly 40 years to the late Nathan Miller who passed away in 2009.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters Joan Burman of Cary, N.C., and Robin Schorr of New York City; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-children, Linda Miller and Richard Miller and their children and grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Marilyn R. Miller to the Kinneret Tenants’ Association, 515 S. Delaney Ave., Orlando, FL 32801. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando.
