Obituary - ALAN LITKA

Alan Litka of Orlando died on Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was 88 years old.

An Orlando resident since 1953, he was born in Cincinnati on April 19, 1925, to the late Max and Jennie Vagranasky Litka. Upon graduating high school, Mr. Litka enlisted in the Navy and served in the Pacific theater during WWII. After the war, he returned to the United States and married the former Selma Segal, his wife of 62 years, who predeceased him in October 2008. Mr. Litka was in the auto repair business for many years both up North and in the Orlando area.

Mr. Litka is survived by his son, Art (Treena) of Sanford; his daughters, Marsha Litka and Heather Litka; and his former daughter-in-law, Beverly Litka; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Cohn.

Graveside funeral services were held at Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. In memory of Alan Litka, the family requests contributions to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Fla. 32714.
