Bat Mitzvah - Brooke Jaynee Levitt

Brooke Jaynee Levitt, daughter of Keith and Julie Levitt of Orlando, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Nov. 2, 2013 at Congregation Reform Judaism.

Brooke is in the seventh grade at Glenridge Middle School, where she is in the High Honors IB program.  Brooke is a competitive cheerleader for Winter Park Cheer Athletics.  When Brooke is not at the gym she is often studying or face timing or texting her friends.

Brooke is a very compassionate and caring young lady who looks forward to sharing her bat mitzvah with Edit Weigert, a two-year-old who perished in the Holocaust. She has also been busy collecting soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that is close to her heart.

Sharing in the family’s simcha will be Brooke’s older brother, Brandon; grandparents Jacqueline and Kenneth Levitt of Maitland, and Frances and Michael Grossman of Highland Park, Il.  Family and friends from Illinois, California, New York, Washington, D.C., and South Florida will also be sharing this special time.
