Lucy Estrin of Orlando, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Florida Hospital – Orlando. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Estrin, a native of Brooklyn, was one of three daughters born to the late Samuel and Eva Pizer Bookshin. She was a psychotherapist in family counseling, earning her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee. She maintained a client list until just recently.
Mrs. Estrin is survived by her sons, Mark (Karen) of Maitland, and Eric (Linda) of Oak Park, Calif.; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marjorie Bllom and Maybelle Corenswet.
A funeral service was held at the Ohev Shalom Pavilion with Rabbi Rick Sherwin officiating. In memory of Mrs. Estrin, the family requests contributions to Congregation Beth Am, PO Box 915756, Longwood 32791. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando.
