Are they crazy?

Even though it is difficult to understand, Islamic fanatics consider themselves at war with all non-Muslims as well as the entire United States.

Understanding ones enemy is important to having any hope of defending one’s self, specifically when the enemy does so many odd and illogical things.

In Saudi Arabia, according to a spokesperson of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, the religious police have the right to stop a woman who has “tempting eyes” and order her to cover them immediately or face a fine or public lashing. This is absolutely weird.

Can you believe that in Malaysia, 35 Islamic terms are not to be used by non-Muslims? Allah, solat (daily prayers), rasul (prophet), mubaligh (missionary), mufti, iman (faith), kaabah (the holy cubicle), qiblat (direction in which the Muslims pray), and haji (Muslims who have done his pilgrimage).

Want more? Pakistan published a list of “obscene” words forbidden from use in text messages, such as athlete’s foot, flatulence, monkey crotch, back door, bewaquf (foolish) and, of course, Jesus Christ.

How do you like this catch 22? In Pakistan, for a women to report being raped without four witnesses she risks being jailed for adultery. Try hiding rape and risk being jailed for concealing it.

A group called the Popular Egyptian Islamic Association sent a warning on Facebook, urging its followers not to eat tomatoes because it is a Christian food and may turn them into infidels. Then there is the Islamic cleric who said women should not be close too bananas, cucumbers, etc., to avoid  “sexual thoughts because they resemble the male penis.”

In September 2013, Reuters News reported that a Saudi cleric said women who drive risk damaging their ovaries.

Dr. Izzat Attiah, an Egyptian scholar, said his Fatwa offered a way around mixing the sexes at work by establishing a maternal relation. The women should breastfeed their male colleagues.

A Palestinian man, Muhammad Abu Shahala, a former intelligence agent for the Palestinian Authority, was  sentenced to death for selling his house to a Jew, near the Jewish Cave of the Patriarchs.

In July 2013, Reuters reported that the Turkish authorities detained a bird on suspicion of spying for Israel. The bird was freed after x-rays showed no embedded surveillance equipment.

In 2012, the father of Mohamed Mehra, a man who confessed to killing seven people in a 10-day killing spree in southwest France, told FRANCE 24 that he wanted to take the French state to court for failing to capture his son alive.

A Peshawar resident, Waqas Pervez, 26, a Christian, told BosNewsLife that he and his family were “forced to flee” after suspected Muslim militants threatened to kill them. Why? Because he protested a jihad-martyrdom suicide attack that murdered 171 at his church.

For 18 years, Amir Muhammad Afridi’s vast handlebar moustache, curling as high as his forehead, made him a celebrity throughout the rugged, tribal lands that border Afghanistan. There is no finer mark of a Pakistani man than a fully oiled, waxed and twirled moustache. But that was until his luxuriant facial hair came to the attention of Lashkar-i-Islam, extremists who claimed Amir’s moustache was un-Islamic.

Egypt: Islamic supremacist group threatens to target Christians in revenge for arrests of members who attacked police and local churches.

How can they justify  threatening to kill protesting survivors of a group whom the fanatics killed?

The above are examples of fanatics who are highly illogical if not crazy. To you who are aware of Islamic terrorism I suggest asking the so-called moderate Muslims and their non-Muslim defenders to explain their position in light of instances such as the above.
