Panel discussion on Christian Persecution—Led by an international panel, discussion of Christian persecution worldwide. 7-9 p.m., at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1515 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando 32807.

SATURDAY, MAY 17

Prayer March for Persecuted Christians—Approximately 100,000 Christians are murdered yearly, and recently, 300 young Christians girls were kidnapped in Nigeria. Join in as a voice for the voiceless. The 1 mile walk begins at 6:30 p.m. at Lake Eola Park, across from Panera Bread and ends at Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 E. Livingson St. If you are unable to walk, come to Trinity Lutheran Church by 8 p.m. to hear international speakers. Event is free and free parking at the church.

Saturday Night Out: Summer Fun—Send the kids to the Roth JCC while you enjoy a night on the town. 5:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. There are activities, games, crafts, dinner and a movie. Ages 18 months-12 years. Cost: $40 ($30 for JCC members); $20 additional children ($15 JCC members) FREE for campers registered for Camp J. Info: Lita, 407-645-5933.

Saturday Night Out: Scavenger Hunt—JCC’s Jack & Lee Rosen Campus hosts the popular Scavenger hunt. Team up and run all over the J to get clues, complete strange tasks and figure out puzzles. Pizza dinner and a movie, too. Children may bring PJs and a pillow and blanket for the movie. Cost: $30 first child; $20 second child; third child free. JCC members receive $5 off per child. Temple Israel Social Hall dedication—2 p.m., The entire community is welcome to attend the dedication of the renovated Roth Social Hall at the synagogue, 50 S. Moss Road, Winter Springs.
