Loan wolves attacking America

Each lone wolf terror attack unto itself may appear minimal but Islamic fanatics are calling for an escalation in lone wolf activity in America. Their call is achieving the desired effect.

After reading this article take a minute to imagine how much horror hundreds or even thousands of lone wolf suicide bombers could inflict in America. Image a suicide bomber or two in a subway during rush hour with knapsack bombs. Consider a car or truck bomb on a bridge or tunnel or at a reservoir dam or among pedestrians.

The media rarely report on terrorist activity occurring in the United States, making it so easy to ignore. But there are far more terror actions than the average person realizes.

Most of these actions are carried out by one or two individuals (lone wolf) unlike 9/11 consisting of 15 perpetrators and an unknown number of helpers resulting in 3000 deaths.

On Oct. 23, 2014, in a shopping area in Queens, N.Y., Zale Thompson attacked police with a hatchet. One officer received a serious head wound and another in the arm before Thompson was killed. Thompson is pictured on Facebook wearing a keffiyeh and had a terrorism-related conversation with one of his friends, according to police. New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said “the hatchet attack on four rookie officers was a terrorist act by a homegrown radical.”

On Oct. 2, 2014 the New York Daily Sun reported that Haroon Aswat was charged with attempting to establish a jihad training in camp in the U.S. He is accused of being an accomplice to convicted cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri for conspiring to open a terrorist training camp in Bly, Oregon. One of Hamza’s sympathizers said the camp “looks just like Afghanistan” and that they were “stock-piling weapons and ammunition” there.

Akba Jihad Jordan, of Raleigh, N.C., plead guilty to conspiracy of supporting terrorists. Jordan and his co-defendant, Avin Marsails Brown, intended to travel overseas to fight with terrorists. The pair also intended to use weapons to fight non-Muslims in America. An AK-47 assault rifle and ammunition was found in Jordan’s apartment.

Everyone heard of the Boston Marathon bombings. The lone wolf Chechen brothers Dzhoklar and Tamerlan Tsanaev built two simple pressure cooker bombs that they detonated in the midst of unsuspecting marathon spectators. The brothers also killed an MIT policeman and carjacked an SUV and exchanged gunfire with Watertown police.

There was the Fort Hood massacre of 13 people by a lone wolf killer shouting Allah Akbar. The convicted killer Major Nidal Hassen, an Army psychiatrist is now asking to become a citizen of the terrorist Islamic State.

Abdulhakim Muhammad confessed to shooting two soldiers outside a military recruiting station in Arkansas. Muhammad said he was acting in retribution for the deaths of Muslims in U.S. military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Muhammad was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

In May 2001, Faisal Shahzad, a Palestinian American, attempted a car bombing in Times Square, N.Y. He confessed to 10 counts arising from the attempted bombing. Shahzad was arrested at JFK Airport after boarding Emirates Flight 202, on route to Islamabad, Pakistan.

On Christmas Day in 2009, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallah attempted to bomb Northwest Flight 253 on the way to Detroit, Michigan with 290 people aboard. He was prevented, by passengers, from igniting the plastic explosive sewn in his underwear.

In April 2013, Yusuf Ibrahim, 28, was indicted in Jersey City, N.J., for the 2013 murder of Hanny Tawadros and Amgad Konds. He cut off their heads and hands. The two victims were Egyptian Coptic Christian expatriates.

In 2006 Mohammed Taheri-azar drove his car into a crowd at the University of North Carolina. He attempted to kill Americans in revenge for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The letter he wrote to police stated “I live with the holy Koran as my constitution for right and wrong and definition of injustice.”

On Jan. 31, 2013, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, a Somal-American student, was found guilty for an attempted car bombing at a Christmas tree lighting in Portland Oregon. There were 10,000 people in attendance at the annual event.

The Mirror newspaper reported that on Oct 23, 2014, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was shot and killed by Michael Zehaf-Bibeau at the Canadian War Memorial. Police chased Zehaf-Bibeau into the Canadian Parliament where he was shot and killed. This shooting came two days after a Muslim convert killed one soldier and injured another in a hit-and-run.

What is it that causes Muslim immigrants and born American converts here in the U.S. to become killers and be so willing to die? Someone must be brainwashing them. The second question is what will it take for us to demand action from our representatives? They must face up to terrorist activity and make the public more aware of the actual terrorism without white washing in political correctness.
