Interfaith dilemma

Truly, there must be peace-loving people in every religion. It is for this reason there are a number of interfaith events among Christians, Jews and Muslims.

In hopes of achieving peace, many Christians and Jews assume all their Islamic counterparts enter the meetings with similar values and honesty. Obviously they are not aware that the Q’uran approves of Al-Takeyyah: Lying For Allah. Nor have they become aware that so many Islamic leaders preach hate of infidels and Islamic domination.

According to “Islamic Commentaries” falsehoods (Al-Takeyyah) are permitted to protect Islam, to protect oneself, a fellow Muslim or to promote the cause of Islam. This is sanctioned by the Qur’an (16-106). This, in many cases, includes lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress.

There are Islamic organizations such as ISIS, Hamas and Al-Qaeda who perform similar actions to meet their goals. Osama Ben Laden reportedly said “As to the relationship between Muslims and infidels, this is summarized by the Most High’s Word: ‘We renounce you. Enmity and hate shall forever reign between us – till you believe in Allah alone’ [Quran 60:4].”

Sadly there are a large number of Islamic fanatics, around the world who attack and kill non-Muslims simply because they are not Muslim. They say and do anything to force the observance of the Islamic faith on everybody. Likewise they denounce killing innocent people. However, as Imam Anjem Choudhury of the Omar Bakri group of jihadists in Britain explains, he is entirely ready to condemn attacks on innocent civilians, but he notes that because non-Muslims have rejected Islam, none of them are innocent. As you can see between omission and Al-Takeyyah it is easy to be mislead.

In 2006, according to “freerepublic.com,” of the numerous war conflicts in the world, 31 of them are/were Islam related. The United States was involved in two of those wars. If the news media reported on the other 29 Islamic wars, the Christian and Jewish clergy might have a better appreciation of the real Islamic world. Such as the killing of tens of thousands of infidels (non-Muslims) in Sudan, Chechnya, Nigeria, Iraq and more by Islamic fanatics.

The United Muslim Christian Forum (UMCF) is an entity of the Muslims of the Americas, whose members follow a cleric in Pakistan named Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani who referred to Osama Bin Laden as a “Saudi activist.” The group says it has 22 “villages” across the country, such as “Islamberg” in Hancock, N.Y. and “Holy Islamville” in York County, S.C. reported to be Islamic training compounds. Gilani also leads Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a group that the State Department said, in 1998, is an “Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence.”

It is commendable for freedom-loving people to accept a Muslim’s offer to jointly search for harmony and peace. The danger is how can one know if the offer is from a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is absolutely not only what they say. Words are cheap. I suggest intensive search be performed, track the history of their organization and their associates, etc., then continuously look for verification in their actions such as what are they doing to fight the Islamic fanatics.

Editor’s note: In light of a recent comment on a blog that these are “fabrications,” Islamberg in Hancock, N.Y. and Holy Islamville in York County, S.C., are real villages and have been reported by respected sources to be military training compounds.
