JFS honors Madeline Wolly

JFS Orlando, the Winter Park-based nonprofit human service agency, is pleased to announce its upcoming 2015 Spring Brunch on Sunday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at The Heathrow Country Club, located at 1200 Bridgewater Drive, Heathrow, Fla.

The brunch will honor Madeline Wolly with the George Wolly Community Leadership Award and will benefit JFS' programs and services including counseling, emergency assistance and the Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry.

"We are honored to have Madeline as such an exemplary model of leadership on our board," said Eric Geboff, executive director of JFS Orlando. "Madeline fully embodies the spirit of this award."

Wolly is a past president and one of the longest and most active serving board members at JFS.

The award and the JFS building are named in memory of her late husband, George Wolly, who volunteered for and served on the board for 20 years.

"To receive an award named for George is truly an honor," said Wolly. "He always had such a passion for helping those in need and I have only ever sought to carry on the vision he had for JFS."

Tickets for the event are $175 and can be purchased at http://www.jfsorlando.org. For further inquiries about tickets or the event, please contact JFS Orlando's development coordinator Amanda Benedit at amanda.benedit@jfsorlando.org or 407.644.7593, ext. 227.
