COS youth enjoy camp out before new program year

Congregation Ohev Shalom Camp Kadusim (Kadima, USY and Olim) took place Aug. 10-12 at Camp ithiel in Gotha.

Eighty-two fourth through 12th graders of Ohev Shalom’s youth groups spent three incredible days doing Jewish activities and getting excited for the new program year.

Activities included swimming, boating, Apache relays, water kickball, singing and Israeli dancing. The campers also enjoyed creative Shacharit and Mincha services, creating a social action organization called Happiness Hotspot, sitting around a campfire making smores and holding a singdown.
