A celebration of the last day of Sukkot will be held on Oct. 4 at Congregation Beth Sholom in Leesburg, featuring a 5 p.m. dairy potluck dinner, followed by a special Sukkot service.

Simchat Torah Shabbat service
Rabbi Karen Allen will lead Shabbat services and a celebration of Simchat Torah, recognition of the giving of the Torah, at Congregation Beth Sholom of Leesburg on Friday evening, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m.
The festive service features the completion and re-beginning of the annual reading of the Torah. An Oneg Shabbat with refreshments will follow the service. Guests are always welcome at “the synagogue that feels like family,” located at 315 N. 13th Street in Leesburg, with the entrance on Center Street.
