Anita Lowitz, age 86, of Clermont, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont. She was the devoted wife to the true love of her life, Bernie, for 65 ½ years, until his death in December 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Louis and Stella Ressler Psachie, on April 1, 1929. Mrs. Lowitz was a college graduate and a homemaker. She was adored and loved by her children, David, Vicki and Marc, and by her grandchildren Andrew, Melissa, Nicole and Leigh.
Anita and Bernie relocated to the Orlando area in 1983 and became members of Congregation Ohev Shalom. Following their move to Summit Greens in Clermont, they joined Congregation Sinai and many of the clubs in their community. Among their many activities was their love of playing tennis. Mrs. Lowitz’s true passion was singing and acting with style, grace and beauty for the Performer’s Club.
A funeral service was held at the Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando FL 32810.
