Obituary - LEE JOSEPH LEHNER

Lee J. Lehner, age 75, of Apopka, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood. Mr. Lehner was born in Kingston, New York, on April 4, 1940, to the late Henry and Rita Kinberg Lehner. He was an executive in retail sales and management, including vice president of Jefferson-Wards Department stores. When he left the world of retailing in the early 1980s, Mr. Lehner began a new career as a travel consultant, opening a Travel Agents International office in Altamonte Springs. He remained in that business until ultimately retiring in the mid-1990s. A college graduate, he married his wife of 50 years, the former Sheila Folstein, on Jan. 30, 1966, in Washington DC. They relocated to the Orlando area from Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1982.

Mr. Lehner is survived by his wife, Sheila; his son, Alexander (Michelle) of England; and his daughters, Rachelle Lehner of Atlanta and Beth (Ken) Taylor of Apopka. He was also the very proud grandfather of five.

Graveside services and interment were held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery in Orlando, with Rabbi Rick Sherwin of Congregation Beth Am officiating. In memory of Lee J.
