Obituary - ALLAN BURNSTINE

Allan Burnstine, son of Jerry and the late Lillian Burnstine, passed away on Feb. 29, 2016, at the age of 69. Allan is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen Burnstine; sons, Benjamin and Andrew Burnstine, of Lake Mary; his daughter, Dana Reynolds; grandsons, Evan and Bowen Reynolds, all of Richmond, Virginia; his sister, Devie Louza; brothers, Norman (Joan) and Robert Burnstine; as well as three nieces and one nephew. Allan was preceded in death by his son, David Burnstine; and his brother, Michael Burnstine.

Allan was born and raised in Richmond, Va. He was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He became a Florida resident in 1979. Highly regarded for his expertise and decades of experience in the furniture industry, Allan was best known for the kind and generous manner in which he lived each day of his life.

A memorial service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism (CRJ) with Rabbi Steven Engel and Cantor Jacqueline Rawiszer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allan Burnstine Fund at CRJ or to Hospice of the Comforter.
