Obituary - CYNTHIA K. SANDHAUS

Cynthia Sandhaus, age 63, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2016, at Florida Hospital—Orlando. She was born on Feb. 8, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Irving and Helen Budarweiser Bodner.

Mrs. Sandhaus was a college graduate and worked as a phlebotomist for over 30 years. On a blind date in July 1975, she met Barry Sandhaus, whom she married on Sept. 13, 1981, in Mamaroneck, N.Y. They relocated to the Orlando area from Beekman, N.Y., in 1997.

In addition to her husband of nearly 36 years, Mrs. Sandhaus is survived by her sons, Eric and Craig; and her daughter, Shari. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Helaina; sister, Carole Bodner; brother, Martin Bodner; and aunt, Tillie Hayden.

A memorial service was held at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. In memory of Cynthia Sandhaus, the family requests contributions to the National Meningitis Foundation, nmaus.org. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel. 640 Lee Road, Orlando 32810.
