MILDRED R. ROSING

Mildred Rosing, age 92, of Longwood, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Village on the Green Health Center. Born on June 29, 1924, to the late Samuel and Grace Blecker Glasser, she was a native of New York City.

A homemaker, Mildred relocated to the Orlando area from Bethesda, Maryland, with her family. Her husband, Sanford “Sandy” Rosing, passed away in 1988.

Mildred is survived by her sons, Allan (Catherine) Rosing of New Jersey and Dr. Howard (Laura) Rosing of Georgia; and her daughter, Deborah (George) Rosenberg of Longwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shaun (fiancé Regan) Rosenberg, Steven (Isabella) Rosenberg, Zachary Rosing, Scott Rosing, Staci (Jonathan) Cooper, Caryn (Doug) Kroll, and Robert Rosing; and by her great-grandchildren, Lily, Brody and Ella. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Norman (Lois) Glasser of Washington DC.

A graveside service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism cemetery in Gotha with Rabbi Maurice Kaprow officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Mildred R. Rosing be made to the American Heart Association, http://www.heart.org.
