Roslyn Baehr, age 76, of Orlando, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Hospice of the Comforter surrounded by her family. Born in Bronx, New York, on Oct. 9, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Ida Hinderstein Broder. She was the widow of the late Fred S. Baehr who passed away on Dec. 31, 2001. Roslyn was a high school graduate and worked as an operations manager in the banking field. The family relocated to the Orlando area from Springfield, Mass., in 1993.
An expert with crochet needles, Roslyn provided her family with beautiful handmade blankets for all occasions.
She is survived by her children, Richard Baehr of Orlando, Jeffrey Baehr of Orlando, Francine Nadav of Jerusalem, Israel, Stacey Bork of Scituate, Mass., and Myrna Baehr of Orlando. She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother of eight. Roslyn is also survived by her sister, Judith Stone; and brothers, Martin Broder, Benjamin Broder and Michael Broder.
A graveside service was held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Roslyn Baehr to Shira Delray Hadassah c/o Anita Ettlinger, 6149 Pointe Regal Circle #305, Delray Beach FL 33484.
