Obituary - NORMAN POSNER

Norman Posner, age 85, of Clermont, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Tuskawilla Nursing and Rehab in Winter Springs. Born to the late David and Mollie Marder Posner on Oct. 26, 1931, in Brooklyn, Norm was a sales manager in the hosiery industry. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and attended college earning an associate’s degree. He was married for over 58 years to the late Gilda Posner who passed away in November 2011. They relocated to the Central Florida area from New Jersey in 1998 are were members of Temple Sinai in Clermont.

Norman is survived by his son Howard (Kim) of Tampa; his daughters Terri (John) Fegler of New Jersey, Carol (Dusty) Warder of Casselberry and Sheryl (David) Norbut of Delaware; and his brother Jeff (Judy) Posner of Boca Raton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Charles (Rachel) Harvey, Rachel Harvey, Scott Fegler, David (Charisse) Norbut Jr, Tyler (Jennifer) Norbut, Jason (Sarah) Norbut, Nicole Posner, Noelle Posner, Rebecca Warder and Sarah Warder; and great-grandchildren, Shayna, Caelan, Dylan, Logan, Jane and Jack.

A graveside service was held at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Gotha, with Joseph Goldovitz of Temple Sinai officiating. In memory of Norman Posner, the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK 73123-1718.
