Obituary - DAVID MERRILL MILLER

David M. Miller, age 72, of Winter Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. One of three children, he was born on Sept. 29, 1944, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Morris and Bertha Buchwalter Miller. David graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s of fine arts and was a hearing aid specialist. He owned and operated a hearing aid business in West Palm Beach for a number of years.

A man extraordinary wit, he was always ready with quip. David and Judi Kurley, his spouse of nearly 20 years, relocated to the Winter Springs in 2015. He is also survived by his sisters, Paula (Marc) Greene of Edison, New Jersey and Gail Miller of Atlanta. Additionally, he is survived by Judi’s daughters, Geri (Wayne) Dorman of Sanford and Debbie L. Kurley of Sanford; and step-grandchildren Justin and Blair.

A funeral service was held at Bet Chaim Cemetery in Gotha with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of David M. Miller to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org/donate.
