Joyce Goldstein-Berger, age 74, of Heathrow, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Florida Hospital-Orlando surrounded by her family. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she was born on Dec. 25, 1942, to the late Samuel A. and Sylvia Feld Millend. A homemaker, Joyce was the wife of Melvin G. Berger and the widow of the late Robert Goldstein. She relocated to the Orlando area from Maryland in 1993.
A woman of numerous talents and interests, Joyce was involved in many civic and charitable organizations.
In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her children Michael, Andy, Lee, Judi and Pam and her adored grandchildren Rebecca, Cameron, Ethan and Haley. She is also survived by her sister, Rosalie Berger.
A funeral service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism with Rabbi Yanky Majesky of Chabad of North Orlando officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Joyce Goldstein-Berger be made to Cancer Research.
