On Thursday, April 20, the Jewish Pavilion will host its annual fashion show, where giving back to the senior community is always in style, honoring Friends Board secretary and resident "Funny Woman," Marlene Adler, at Bloomingdale's in Orlando. The longtime Hadassah Board member has been an active Friends Board member for the past five years. Adler shares that she is thrilled to be honored at the Pavilion's "Spring into Fashion Show," and has her eye on spring denim, which she calls her "go-to" style.
"With a jean-filled closet and even denim on the couches, if you come to my house, it's been said that you leave covered in denim," she quipped.
Nancy Ludin, Jewish Pavilion executive director commented, "Marlene has been making us laugh and brightening our days at The Jewish Pavilion for the past several years. Her quip-filled note-taking as Friends Board secretary, helps us appreciate the lighter side of giving."
The entire community is invited to "Spring into Fashion" and enjoy a morning of friendship, finger foods, and of course, fun, while helping raise funds for seniors in long-term care in more than 70 facilities throughout Greater Orlando.
The Jewish Pavilion's Spring into Fashion Show on Thursday, April 20, will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Bloomingdale's Orlando, Sutton Level 2. General admission/couvert is $25; $50 Fashionista (enjoy front-row seating); $100 Couture Patron (enjoy front-row seating, and be entered in a drawing to win gifts from Bloomingdale's); $500 Benefactor (enjoy front-row seating, be entered in a drawing to win gifts from Bloomingdale's, have your name listed in an ad honoring Marlene Adler).
