Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice
Lovingly remembering and honoring the 11+ years we shared at numerous holiday celebrations together. May Gitles, z"l, shown here with her devoted, loving and compassionate daughter, Toni.
The Jewish Pavilion volunteers and staff enjoyed many years of friendship with May who lived to be close to 100 years (young) at Atria Park of Lake Forest.
When Program Director Emily Newman learned of May's passing she contacted Toni Gitles and offered her the opportunity to have Jewish Pavilion volunteers Terri Fine Stenzler and Paul Stenzler lead a memorial service. Toni had planned to lead a service at Atria Park for the staff, friends, and residents but agreed to accept the help and support of Jewish Pavilion at her time of sadness.
A beautiful and meaningful celebration of life took place with those whose life was touched and enriched by knowing Mrs. Gitles. This Memorial Service Program, sponsored by the Jewish Pavilion, was developed and delivered by Pavilion volunteers Terri Fine Stenzler and her husband, Paul Stenzler.
This program was made possible in part by a grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando.
