Obituary - DORIS SHAPIRO FRANK

Doris S. Frank, age 90, of Lake Mary, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Oakmont Village at Lake Mary. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Doris was born on Jan. 13, 1927, to the late Barney and Rosella Sloane Zeffert. Doris was a college graduate and served as a bi-lingual executive secretary in advertising for many years. She was the widow of the late Donald Frank who passed away in 2007, after 50 years of marriage.

After living for many years in Miami, Doris and Don relocated to the Orlando area in 1999 and became active members of Congregation of Reform Judaism and the Orlando Jewish community. Additionally, she was a member of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Orlando, American Red Magen David Adom and the Sanford Jewish community.

Doris is survived by her children, Barbara Frank of Quakerstown, Penn., Tom (MaryAnn) Frank of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Henry (Debbie) Frank of Lake Mary, Fla. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel, Courtney, Marc and Zeke; and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte.

A funeral service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism on Sunday, April 2, with Cantor Jacqueline Rawiszer officiating. Burial was in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Miami. In memory of Doris Frank, the family requests contributions to Congregation of Reform Judaism.
