Obituary - PETER A. WEISBERG

Peter A. Weisberg, age 61, of Longwood, passed away at home surrounded by his family of Saturday, May 6, 2017. A native of Boston, he was born on Feb. 5, 1956, to Jean Lieberman Weisberg of Delray Beach and the late Robert Weisberg. Peter graduated from Boston College and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

On Aug. 19, 1979, in Nadick, Mass., he married the former Karen Wilcon, his wife of nearly 38 years who survives him. The family lived in the Orlando area during the 1980s, returning permanently in 2008 from Chicago. During his working career, Peter was a salesman of medical supplies and equipment.

In addition to his wife and mother, Peter is survived by his sons, Daniel of Los Angeles, Jon of Seattle and Mike (Jennifer) of Deerfield Beach; and his grandchildren, Dylan and Mikayla. He is also survived by his sisters, Amy (David) Katz of Boston and Caren Weisberg of Delray Beach.

A funeral service was held at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Peter A. Weisberg to The Jewish Pavilion, 421 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs 32714 or Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs 32714.
