Toby E. Harrington, age 79, of Oviedo, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Winter Park Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 15, 1938, in Philadelphia, to the late David and Sylvia Winokur Schon. Toby was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She relocated to the Orlando area in 1985 from Marlton, New Jersey.
Toby is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Harrington, to whom she was married for over 32 years. She is also survived by her sons, Leon (Susan) Roomberg of Cherry Hill, N.J., Robert (Monica) Roomberg of Jim Thorpe, Pa., and Barry (Margaret) Roomberg of Mt. Laurel, N.J .; and her daughter, Lisa (Paul) von Drasek of Minneapolis, Minn. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Phylis Goldman of Brooklyn; and her uncle, Don Winokur of Abbington, Pa .; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Barbara Horton of Berlin, N.J.
A graveside service was held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. In memory of Toby E. Harrington, the family requests contributions to http://www.smiletrain.org.
