Oscar Stanton, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on June 30, 2017. He was born Sept. 27, 1918, in New York. Mr. Stanton attended Franklin and Marshall University and NYU Law School. He served honorably as a
decorated officer in World War II. After that he was vice president and legal council on real estate for Uris buildings corporations and Rockefeller center properties. Mr. Stanton moved to Orlando from New York in August 1980 and was the first secretary/treasurer of Montpelier Village Club in Williamsburg Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stanton (nee Moshinsky); and four daughters, Jill Stanton Esq, Kim Ertrachter, Barbara Stanton, and Dr. Judith LeGault along with six grandchildren andtwo great grandsons. A memorial service will be held on Oct. 1, 2017, for close family and friends.
