Mildred Spring Goldberg—Malka Sheindel bat Yosef v’Rifka—age 96, of Winter Park, passed away at Faith House in Winter Springs on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Born in New York on May 24, 1921, she was one of two daughters born to the late Joseph and Rebecca Malowitz Spring and was the widow of the late Meyer Goldberg, who passed away in 2009.
A high school graduate, during her working career she was a retail salesperson. She and Meyer relocated to the Orlando area from North Miami in 1989, and were members of Congregation of Reform Judaism.
Mildred is survived by her sons Robert of Casselberry and Philip Golabuk of Gainesville; and daughter, Linda Goldberg of Winter Park. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service was held at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando. 407-599-1180.
