Attend an Israeli Dance Workshop

On Sunday, Sept. 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. there will be a special Israeli dance workshop with professional Israeli dance teacher Danny Pollock. He has been teaching Israeli folk-dance for more than 30 years. You will learn older dances and newer favorites, while touching some on the background of the music, choreography and styling.

Danny Pollock has made a career of teaching Israeli folkdance for more than thirty years. Danny has led classes, sessions, and workshops in Israeli folkdance throughout the N.Y. Metropolitan area, as well as in cities throughout the U.S. and in Canada. Danny has served on the staff of multiple folkdance camps, including Hora Keff, Shorashim, Mainewoods Dance Camp, and Horati 2001 & 2017, and has performed, through the years, with numerous Israeli dance troupes, including as principal dancer of N.Y.'s Parparim Ensemble. For many years, Danny worked as assistant to the director of N.Y.'s annual Israel Folk Dance Festival, has led or co-taught numerous teacher-training workshops, and has choreographed a repertoire of dances for children, as well as a series of chair dances for senior adults.

The workshop will be held at The Roth Family JCC and the cost for the event is $15 ($10 JCC members). Register at orlandojcc.org/calendar/israeli-dance-workshop.
