Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice
Attention all Medicare beneficiaries! Marc Auster, an independent Medicare insurance agent, wants all Medicare beneficiaries to know that the annual enrollment period begins Oct. 15. That is when eligible beneficiaries can change their plans for next year if they so choose. That opportunity ends on Dec. 7 after which most people are "locked in" until the next year. With offices in Maitland, Auster represents both Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage plans (10 separate plans in central Florida). He hosts educational Medicare seminars throughout the year in a variety of venues. Titled "Unraveling the Mystery of Medicare" his seminars explain what Medicare is, what Advantage plans are and how they are different from supplements, prescription drug plans (Part D) and answers questions from the audience.
With nine years in the industry, Auster is married and the proud father of two children. His son, Matthew, is a CPA and daughter, Michelle, is a business office director at Sonata West, an assisted-living facility specializing in memory care. His wife, Gail, is an office manager for a consulting firm in Winter Park. They have been members of CRJ for 15 years.
