On Wednesday, May 1, the Men’s Club of Congregation Ohev Shalom will be hosting its annual Holocaust ceremony followed by the Academy Award winning movie, “The Pianist.” The yellow-candle ceremony will be led by Holocaust survivor Abraham Gold.
Roman Polanski’s “The Pianist” is the biographical drama about Polish Jewish musician Wladyslaw Szpilman’s struggles to survive the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto during the Holocaust.
The event, which will be held at Congregation Ohev Shalom. is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
