Temple Israel has brought back their cheesecake bake-off as part of a community-wide Tikkun Leil Shavuot. The night of studying and learning will take place in the Rein Sanctuary on Saturday, June 8, at 9:30 p.m., with cheesecake tasting and judging in the Roth Social Hall.
All are welcome, so come join the Orlando community in celebrating Tikkun Leil Shavuot with a night of passionate learning and delicious cheesecake. There will be teachers from all over the Orlando area.
Bakers can bake their kosher creations in their own rabbi-approved kosher kitchens or in the Temple Israel kitchen by reserving a time slot when registering. For kosher questions, please contact Rabbi Neely at rabbi@tiflorida.org. Entries must be delivered to Temple Israel by Friday, June 7.
For more information or to enter the cheesecake competition, please contact Debra Markowitz at dvorahq@yahoo.com or the Temple Office at (407) 647-3055. Bake-off registrations are due by June 3.
