Daniel Bachrach, 85, of Winter Park, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at AdventHealth Hospice—Orlando. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Louis and Jeanette Nichauser Bachrach. He served as a Navy airman in Korea and earned his master’s degree from Seton Hall University. Dan was a Middle School educator and taught Shop.
He relocated to the Orlando area from New Jersey in 1989 and on Feb. 3, 1991, married the former Susan Mendelsohn, his wife of over 28 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David (Elizabeth) Bachrach of New Jersey, Douglas Bachrach of New Jersey, and Paul (Karen) Bachrach of New Jersey; and his daughter, Janet (James) Finney of New Jersey. He is also survived by his step-son, Jeff (Carol) Blau of Atlanta; and his step-daughter, Robin Eichenhold of Winter Park. Dan is also survived by his grandchildren—Jonathan, Ella, Brian, Michael, Chiara, Dylan, Sara, Katyln, Jenna, Kayla, Kyle, Tyler and Carley. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara.
A graveside service was held at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating.
