Obituary - ADAM BENJAMIN

Adam Benjamin, age 72, of Poinciana, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, evening, Sept. 13, 2019, at Osceola Regional Medical Center. A native of Rome, Italy, Adam was born on March 21, 1947, to the late Izrael and Margaret Rosenberg Benjamin.

Following high school he earned his Associates Degree from what was then Miami-Dade Community College. Upon graduation, Adam enlisted in the United States Navy serving for four years.

On March 3, 1973, in Miami, Adam married the former America Nunez, his wife of more than 46 years who survives him. He is also survived by his son, David Benjamin of Los Angeles; and his daughters, Theresa Koslowski of Pompano Beach and Rebecca (Matthew) Bass of Los Angeles. He was the grandfather of Laura, Jordyn and Ian and the great-grandfather of Orion and Jadyn. He is further survived by his sister, Eve (David) Adler of Atlanta.

A funeral service, with full Naval military honors, was held at Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating. A private family interment took place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims.
