Obituary - ALBERT MOSSERI

ALBERT “Al” Mosseri, age 71, of Lake Mary, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 18, 1948, in Cairo, Egypt, a son of the late Maurice and Alice Wahba Mosseri. The family immigrated to the United States and Al graduated from high school and attended college. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era.

On May 25, 1975, in Brooklyn, he married the former Corrie Fallas, his wife of over 44 years, who survives him. Al worked as a supervisor for FEMA. The family relocated to the Orlando area from New York in 1987.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Jessica) Mosseri of Apopka and David of Lake Mary; and his daughter, Amy Mosseri of Sanford. He is also survived by his grandchildren—Austin, Ava Jocelyn, Sophie, Isaac, Evelyn and Heidi; and his brothers, Eli, Solomon, Richard, and Clem; and sister, Rosie.

A funeral service, with military honors was held in the Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Yanky Majesky of Chabad of North Orlando officiating.
