Obituary - RUTH E. MILLER

Ruth E. Miller, 85, of Winter Park, Fla., was born Oct. 24, 1933 and passed away Oct. 8, 2019. She moved to The Villages, Fla., from Las Vegas in 2007 and in 2013 to Winter Park.

Mrs. Miller enjoyed gaming including mahjong, crafting, crochet, needlepoint, knitting and sewing, and especially loved cooking. She was a former member of Temple Shalom in The Villages and attended Congregation Ohev Shalom in Maitland, Fla.

A devoted wife, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry in 2012 and is survived by her daughter, Marci (Jeff) Gaeser of Oviedo, Fla.; two sons, Bob (Lynda) Miller of Longwood, Fla., and Roger Miller of Winter Park; a sister, Betty Smith of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Dolly (Stu) Miller of Canton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, Fla., on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, with a committal service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
