Rose Goldie passed away Nov. 11, 2019, at the age of 99 years and 9 months. She was born Feb. 28, 1920, in “White Russia.” At a young age, her family emigrated to Mexico and later to Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She had a zest of life and enjoyed traveling with her husband, Earle, in their RV. She loved dancing, singing, arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. Later in life her passion was playing endless games of Rummikub.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Sharee (Rick) of West Palm Beach and Pamela (Sanford) of Longwood, as well as her granddaughter Danielle (Pedro) and great-grandson Peter of Delray Beach.
Graveside services were held at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rabbi Maurice Kaprow of VITAS Hospice officiating. In memory of Rose Goldie, the family requests donations to Shriners Hospital for Children (www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org)
