Innovative firm makes semi-finals in start-up event

Blue Halo BioMedical's CEO, Anthony Ruben of Winter Park, recently announced that the company has made the semi-finals of the "Collision From Home" start-up event to be held June 24. Blue Halo was initially chosen as one of 50 start-ups to participate from hundreds of entrants representing innovative firms from across the globe.

"[Recently] the team learned our award-winning company and its Blue Halo Coil Catheter are one of an elite handful to have made the semi-finals," said an ecstatic Ruben.

According to its website, Blue Halo BioMedical, LLC's sole mission is the commercialization of Urologic Catheters. These proprietary devices do not require an external collection device, reduce the rate of Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI Rate), and improve the quality of life in Urologic patients. Blue Halo's catheters have a superior flow rate, which, in clinical tests, reduces infection rates by over 80 percent.

Blue Halo recently completed the first phase of its independent clinical trials and recorded 'observations' that exceeded expectations in all measured areas. The company's trade mark is: Truly Better Flow, Better Outcomes, Better Lives!

Collision is an international event, originally scheduled for Toronto, Canada but due to COVID-19 now on-line, that brings together international investors, tech innovators and start-ups.
