Obituary - WALTER HALPERIN

Walter Halperin, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at his residence. Dr. Halperin was born in New York City on Dec. 10,1924, to the late Sam and Luba Ariev Halperin.

He was a graduate of Long Island University and received his dental degree from New York University. Dr. Halperin served in the U.S. Army. He married the former Marcia Grossman in New York on Dec. 25, 1956. They lived in New York and relocated to the Orlando area in 2013.

In addition to his wife, Dr. Halperin is survived by his sons, Larry (Susan) Halperin of Altamonte Springs and Alan (Wendy) Halperin of New York; and hi daughter, Shelley (Fred) Rudin of New York. He was the grandfather of Alyson Halperin (Farrar Hudkins), Daniel Halperin, Samantha (Aaron) Mandel, Noah, Emily, Oscar and Isaac; and great-grandfather of Benjamin Rudin.

A private family graveside service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism Cemetery with Rabbi Steven W. Engel officiating.
