Obituary - HARRIET PASTER STORYK

Harriet Storyk, age 91 of Altamonte Springs, Fla., passed away peacefully on Monday Aug. 10, 2020, with her two daughters by her side. She was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Harriet was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 4, 1929 to Lena and Joseph Paster. She raised her children in Riverdale, N.Y., later moving to Florida to be with her family. She had many successful careers and experiences in her lifetime, conquering each with grace and a motivation to learn; her proudest being a mother and grandmother.

Harriet was very active at the JCC in the 39ers for years. Harriet loved to read, travel, see shows, and listen to music (especially The Beatles). She was loved by so many and she will be eternally missed by her family and friends.

Harriet is survived by her daughters, Carolyn and Barbara; her sons-in-law, Adlai and William. She is also survived by her grandchildren — Ian, Arielle, Alexa, Sofia, Maria (granddaughter-in-law); and her great-grandson, Liam.

A memorial service was held at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry on Aug. 14.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Jewish Pavillion, https://www.jewishpavilion.org.
