Join Congregation Ohev Shalom Sisterhood as COS member Rachel Scheinberg, president of Matooki - Making Tomorrow Kinder, leads The Museum of Happiness - Virtual Edition at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020.
Our current world is witnessing increased levels of depression, anxiety, and preventable disease. Despite the many ways of increased connectedness, we're also witnessing unprecedented levels of loneliness. The Museum of Happiness experience offers a fun hour to explore ways we can access more joy in our everyday lives and tap into our sharpest selves. This lively interactive "lab" session will include practical and out-of-the-box tools and tricks that will shift your perspective.
Scheinberg has spent her career working to improve the affordability, quality, and access to healthcare across the U.S. She has 19 years of experience building new models to better address people's mental health. She and her teams create programs that incorporate new technologies and creative solutions to help people overcome life's challenges. In this time of social distancing, her current work is bringing live virtual mindfulness programs to different groups, including employers and health-care systems. Scheinberg earned her MBA at Duke University and her BA at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the author of three books.
