On Nov. 27, 2020, Helen Lieberman — wife, mother, sister and daughter — passed away at the age of 84. Helen will be remembered by her husband and best friend, “Sid” Harvey Lieberman, and their two sons, Alan and Gary. Helen will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and her dear friends.
Helen was born on Jan. 30, 1936, in Everett, Massachusetts, to Louis and Rose Levine. She graduated from Everett High School and later married her best friend, “Sid,” at the age of 18. They were married for 66 years. Helen loved her family dearly — relatives from near and far came to visit her. She learned the value of family at an early age from her parents and by vacationing and enjoying time with her cousins at her parents’ lake house in Littleton, Massachusetts. Her two sisters, Binnie and Lois, were her two closest friends.
Helen loved children and worked as an office manager for Altamonte Pediatrics. When she retired in 1983, she was labeled every kid’s mom. Helen was predeceased by her sister, Lois, and is also survived by her sister, Binnie Alpert of Memphis, Tenn.
In memory of Helen Lieberman, and in lieu of flowers, please donate to Susan G. Komen “fight breast cancer” and to Jewish Community services.
