Boys Town Jerusalem International Choral Festival

Eight schools from five countries will unite in song in the upcoming Boys Town Jerusalem International Virtual Choral Festival on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. EST. For the past 13 years, the annual Boys Town Jerusalem Choral Festival, in support of the Israeli school’s underprivileged students, has been held in London. This year, the pandemic has compelled the creation of a “virtual” festival, which now opens the event to participation by choirs from Jewish Day Schools across the world.

The following schools will be participating in this landmark event:

KTC (Australia), Mt. Sinai (Australia), Camel Elementary School (Hong Kong), Boys Town Jerusalem (Israel), Yeshiva College (South Africa), Naima JPS (United Kingdom), Hertsmere JPS (United Kingdom), Sacks Morasha JPS (United Kingdom) and Hebrew Academy of Nassau County (USA).

The festival will also include a tribute in honor of the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks zt”l.

Join in this special event that unites Jewish schools across the globe in song at a time when so many people need an extra boost. The BTJ International Virtual Choral Festival to be streamed on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 1pm. For a link to the event, register at http://bit.ly/Choral2021OZ.

In lieu of a cover charge, a contribution to help needy Boys Town Jerusalem students during this most difficult time will be greatly appreciated.
